Your News... In Real-Time!

At Bruce Middle School we've decided to go paperless with our newsletter.

There are two advantages to this:

- The saving of paper is a savings in costs and more importantly another step in our ongoing commitment to sustainability.

- By offering news in this format, we can now provide our community with real-time news as it happens, instead of waiting until the end of the month to send out information.

MEDIEVAL FEAST

What:  The Annual Grade 8 Medieval Feast

When:  Thursday, April 28th, 11:05-12:25

Where: Front hallway of BMS

Why:  to celebrate the end of our Middle Ages unit in Social Studies and for fun!

The Medieval feast is a potluck style lunch in which all grade 8 students bring food based on a category (appetizer, side dishes/salad, main dish, or dessert).  Each food contribution must be enough to feed approximately 4-6 people.  All food items must be nut and seafood free.

Students should bring their food to room 23 in the morning of the 28th.  We will be able to access a fridge and oven for storing and/or reheating food.  Please label any containers to ensure they are returned to their rightful owner.  Students are responsible for bringing their own beverages.

Please email Mrs. Parker (tparker@sjsd.net) if there are any questions about the feast.
