Bruce Day of Silence- May 27
- We Day students have organized a Day of Silence at Bruce. Day of silence is a day to raise awareness for a cause that is important to each individual who participates. Causes can include: Women's rights, Children's rights, Mental Health, Sustainability, LGBT Rights, etc. We are silent in support of the many people around the globe, whose voices are silenced by such causes. This quiet but powerful, student-led action raises awareness about the silencing effect of rights that aren't being respected.
- To participate, you need to make a $2 donation or bring in a non-perishable food item, and you will get a sign to be worn on May 27- The Bruce Day of Silence. Donations can be made between May 17-26 in the front office at lunch. All donations collected will support Siloam Mission, including art work to be purchased.
- Strength in numbers. Solidarity in silence. Let our silence be heard!!!
