Your News... In Real-Time!

At Bruce Middle School we've decided to go paperless with our newsletter.

There are two advantages to this:

- The saving of paper is a savings in costs and more importantly another step in our ongoing commitment to sustainability.

- By offering news in this format, we can now provide our community with real-time news as it happens, instead of waiting until the end of the month to send out information.

Immunization Reminder

  • Immunization Reminder Note for HPV and/or Tdap/Tdap-IPV

  • Dear Parent/Guardian

  • Immunization clinics will be held at your child’s school on May 11, 2017 a.m.

  • If you have chosen to have your child immunized please ensure:

  • you have returned the consent form (signed and marked ‘yes’)

  • that your child eats a good breakfast and lunch and

  • wears a short sleeved shirt.

  • If there are any changes to the information given on the consent form, please report this, as soon as possible, to the Public Health Nurse directly. Please contact your local public health office at 204-940-2040 and ask to speak with a Public Health Nurse.

  • Relevant changes that should be reported include:

  • You have not signed an immunization consent form and now wish your child to be immunized

  • Your child has transferred from another school

  • Your child has been already immunized by another health care provider since you signed the consent

  • A medical condition has been diagnosed since the consent was signed that may prevent your child from being immunized (e.g. an allergy to a component in the vaccine)

Note: Public Health will not immunize a child without a signed immunization consent form (cc: Kim Witges, TM, AWW)
