Your News... In Real-Time!

At Bruce Middle School we've decided to go paperless with our newsletter.

There are two advantages to this:

- The saving of paper is a savings in costs and more importantly another step in our ongoing commitment to sustainability.

- By offering news in this format, we can now provide our community with real-time news as it happens, instead of waiting until the end of the month to send out information.

On March 7th 2017, Bruce Middle School will be hosting a Student-Led Conference! You will have the opportunity to meet each of your child’s classroom teachers, on a drop-in basis in their classroom (no appointments necessary).  In each classroom, your child will demonstrate their learning through samples of their work and/or performance activities.

We hope that you will find this format both inviting and informative, as your child

leads you through examples of their learning. Should there be a reason that you

need a private face-to-face conversation beyond this meeting, please talk to the

teacher to schedule a follow up meeting.

A Special Presentation will take place in the library from 6:00 – 7:00.

Social Media Awareness for Parents presented by Constable Orlando Buduhan,

Winnipeg Police Service – Community Relations School Education Section.

Topics covered:  Dangerous Apps, Social Media Scam, Viruses/Malware, Laws/Sexting and Cyber Bullying. Please drop in!

If you have questions about this evening, please contact us at the school and we will be happy to help.
